Wausau's first annual WinterFest takes place on Saturday, February 11th from 10am-4pm throughout downtown Wausau. With the exception of the Chili Contest, all activities are free! Pick up your map at the event for all activity locations and details.
- Ice Skating - The 400 Block (FREE rentals courtesy of Shepherd & Schaller)
- Horse drawn wagon rides - throughout downtown Wausau
- Craft Projects - Center for Visual Arts and Marathon County Public Library
Jibz & Bibz Rail Jam & Grub Fest by Shepherd & Schaller - behind the Marathon County Public Library 4-7pm- Ice Tee Classic - Yawkey Park (to benefit The Neighbor's Place) 10am-2pm
- Live Music by The Drovers - The Great Hall (next to the Grand Theater)
- Cookie Decorating - First American Center
- Hot Chocolate Stations - various downtown locations
- Snow Sculpture by Team USA- The 400 Block
- Chili Contest - The Great Hall (Next to the Grand Theater)
Featuring: 2510 Restaurant, Hiawatha, Red Eye Brewing Company, The Mint Café, and City Grill. $5 to sample all 5 entries and Vote for your favorite!
